Acharya Shri Vishuddh sagar ji Maharaj (born 18 December 1971) is one of the best-known modern Digambara Jain Acharya (Digambar Jain Monk). He is also Known for his Preacher on Famous and one of the Most ancient and Old treatise of Jainism composed by Jain Acharya Kunkunda Samaysara, A book is Published naming Samay deshna author Acharya Vishuddh Sagar Ji Maharaj.
Acharya Shri Vishuddh sagar Maharaji was born on 18Th December 1971 at Roor village located in Bhind, Madya Pradesh. He was the seventh son of Shri Ramnarayanji and Ratibai Jain. As per Jain culture, He was given a name as Rajendra (A.K.A. Lalla) on 2nd February 1972 on the temple day. He was very kind by nature since childhood and never demanding kid. He used to accept what so ever offered to him. Since childhood, he was attracted towards nature and animals. Because of his, this nature he always prefers to visit temple for peace of mind. Slowly he started developed his interest to read Jain Holy Books.
At the age of sixteen after completion of High School, he embarked on the virtuous path of Jain asceticism and adopted Bhramhacharya Vrat. Rajendra Bhaiya received a grand eclipse initiation on October 11, 1989 from Acharya Virag Sagarji Maharaj. He was named as Yashodhar Sagar ji at Bhind (M.P.). Later on Shree Yashodhar Sagar Ji received ailak Diksha at Panna Nagar on 19 June 1991, after 2 years from Acharya Virag Sagar ji. After 6 month of taking Ailak Dikhsha, On 21st November 1991 he became a Muni Vishuddh Sagar at Shreyansgiri (M.P.). Later on March 31, 2007, he attained the rank of Acharya at Aurangabad (Maharashtra).
As an Acharya, He does not eat salt, curd, rice & oil in addition to what is traditionally prohibited (like onions) by Jainism. He used to come out from Sravakas for a meal between 10:00 a.m.–10:30 a.m. He used to intake food once a day in the palm of his hand, one morsel at a time.
