Pithla (Besan Curry)

Ingredients

 

  • 1 cup besan Bengal gram flour
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin jeera
  • ½ tsp mustard seeds rai
  • ? tsp asafetida hing
  • ½ tsp turmeric haldi
  • ½ tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 ½ tsp mango powder aam choor
  • 2 Tbsp cilantro finely chopped, hara dhania
  • 4 cup water

For Garnishing

  • 2 Tbsp ghee clarified butter, this is optional
  • ¼ tap red chili powder
