This Dharamshala is near Siddhachal Shrut Tirth and Adhideep Jinalaya.

Palitana is a very significant pilgrimage for Jains. More than 825 temples on Shatrunjaya hill make up the vast complex. A path of over 3500 steps covering 3.5 km leads up to the main temple. Most devotees walk, but those not able to, are carried up in palanquins.

These temples were built over a period of 800 years starting in the 11th century. Wealthy Jain merchants have always been at the forefront in the building and maintaining of the temples.
